Ironman Frankfurt / Ironman European Championship 2012 - 8 July 2012
After a spell of hot days, the water temperature was getting very close to 24.5C (the upper limit allowed for wetsuit swims), and it looked like it might end up being a non-wetsuit swim. My father was an avid fisherman but to this day, there are a couple of things about fishing that I keep wondering about.
Ever go into a fishing shop and see all of those brightly covered lures? Who are they for - the fish or the purchaser? (who thinks that the fish will bite a $27.00 pink and blue wormlike creature with 3 green eyes and shines in the water)...
