And now we get to fly the parachute...
The pull up from the deployment of the chute is pretty forceful, but then you are floating. A big difference in the gravitational pull... My instructor let me fly the parachute by pulling down on one handle or the other to turn and drive us in another direction. The view from 1 km up, over the beautiful vinyards of Asti, as well as the ancient villages was spectacular!
