I thought it was forbidden to sunbathe like that in the US? Having been too used to it in Europe, I was just sitting on an American beach and a woman came up to me and said she overhead someone saying they were going to call the police. So I went up to the guy responsible for the beach and told him. He answered that it must have been some old women being jealous, but please do not change anything he said : this is a private beach and even the police have nothing to say here! Things have changed now?

It's true that many parts of the U.S. are pretty provincial in their attitudes toward topless sunbathing, but that is not the case in Miami Beach.  In New York - as strange as this seems - it is legal for both men and women to wear nothing on top even in the city.  Last summer I well recall an attractive girl in her mid-20's walking down the Broadway between 23rd Street and Union Square with no top on.  There she was, bear-breasted, walking along and talking on her cell phone.  As I walked by, I overheard her saying to the person on the other end of the phone, "... oh, I'm just out for a walk right now and thought I would check in with you...".  New York, what a place!  And now I can say the same for Miami...

Very funny! I can say that if that girl had walked around in the streets of Brussels, the police would have arrested her (and probably would have loved doing it). It's only allowed on beaches here; New York will never stop surprising me! I stopped tanning like that after I heard that there would be more chance of getting breast cancer sitting in the sun, which I am not at all sure is right, but definitely skin cancer. Maybe the fact that a woman told me, after I was windsurfing topless, that an old man was masturbating behind a tree, looking at me... helped a bit too... It definitely made me much more conscious about what I was doing. What does PG stand for Ron?

Watched it twice : love those BBC-documentaries! Funny how even with bears there is a dark cub and a lighter brown one. I did not notice that in Canada in the Rocky Mountains, but then I never came that close!
