Day 11 - Canoeing up the canal
The water was dead calm and reflecting the brush like a mirror. The sky blue matched the blue of the water and the temperature was in the mid-60's... And beside Ombra and I, we encountered only two other canoes - couldn't have been better (other than seeing a little more wildlife). Afterward, talking with some locals, we were told that April is the mating season when one sees hundreds of alligators...
