In the southeastern U.S., around Virginia and Tenessee, wild turkeys are common. Like duck hunting in marshy states, turkey shoots are a big deal in those states where wild turkey live. Dare I say it's a 'country thing'... So that is why I took this photo. It really put a pin on the map as to where we were on our trip.
