Day 3 - She's smiling on the outside, but...
We woke at 8:00 and were on the road shortly after 9:00... But Ombra's bike was backfiring and having what appeared to be fuel problems the day before, so I decided that we should change out her spark plugs just to be on the safe side. That didn't do the job, so I headed back to the automotive shop where we had bought the plugs to find out if there was a Harley dealer or mechanic they could point us at. As I headed for the entrance, I noticed a guy in what looked like a Harley T-shirt and stopped him. He was extremeluy helpful - both he and his wife ride Harleys. He offered some advice and gave us directions to a dealership in Winchester, VA, some 35 miles further down the road. After what seemed like an eternity and LOTS of prayers, we arrived at Groves. The guys there were awesome. They put Betty Davis up on a lift and checked her out right away. There was a problem with a seal by the carburator that allowed too much air, but it would take two hours or so to fix.
