Day 1 - Ombra in layers
She looks pretty good in layer on top of layer on top of layer... A chilly start to our trip (around 38F / 4C). Yikes!
We wanted to get out of town on our first day and then start logging some miles, so we took a friends advice and went out on I-78 for about an hour and then split off on to country roads. We traveled down through New Jersey and crossed the Delaware River on an old steel grated bridge at the cutest little 1800's town, Frenchtown. Our route took us along the river's edge for some 20 miles before breaking away. A beautiful drive and perfect start to the day...
