I don't know what the "10 years old" story is all about... I recall that you were nominated for the NHL Rookie of the Year and then went for vacation in Hawaii, where a wave pounded you into the beach and broke your neck...  I also recall that you had the courtesy of coming to my wedding later that summer with your 'halo' bolted firmly in place!  Gotta love ya brother!
