Scuba diving in Sardegna

It was not expected in any way, but in the 6 days/nights we spent in Golfo Aranci (where we have a family summer house) we were effectively on a boat every day and learning to scuba dive... Can't thank Andrea and Centro Immersione Figarolo enough!!!  Great people - great school!  Here are the pics!

My artful side is exposed...
Doing a pre-dive gear check...
Off she goes...
I never realized how much gear one wears and how heavy it is out of the water...
Day One
Geared up and good to go!
What beautiful waters we were in...
A toast to my good friend and dive master, Piergiorgio after my first experience!
Day 2 - gearing up for the course
Ombra grabbing her fins and other gear for the lesson
Day 3 - First dive! I realized that everyone on this boat knew what they were doing - except for me! ;o)
Teggia from sea level...
Teggia - while it looks benign from here, down under it is another story...
Post 1st dive... It was an exceptional feeling
Ombra and Piergiorgio... Everyone else is still underwater...
Coming home from diving Teggia...

Nice pictures, indeed! From now we have to plan dives together (and bike trips, too).

Yes, Valter, I think that you and I are in full agreement on that...  Let's plan a nice ride with scuba stops along the way!  That sounds like a real vacation! Cool

Awesome memories...What a blast we had! I am SO excited about having initiated Ron to the scuba diving world! Can't wait to dive again, this time in the warm waters of the Sunshine State.
