Motorcycling - Denver to San Francisco 2008

After shipping our motorcycles from New York to Denver, Ombretta and I met up with our two friends Barbara and Paolo at Denver International Airport and went to the local Harley Davidson dealer for them to collect their rentals for the trip.  With our saddle bags and duffles packed, we set off on a 2800 mile, 14-day trip to the city by the bay...  Each day's ride varied, to ensure that we could do some hiking and relaxing along the way, but on average we rode about 200 miles.  Hot as hell in some of the deserts, and equally freezing at night up in the mountains, but the scenery couldn't have been more spectacular.  Barbara, a professional filmmaker, was responsible for the 3000+ photos, including all of these loaded here...
