Ron and I started kiteboarding in 2007 in North Carolina and in 2009 discovered an amazing hidden Kiteboarding mecca in the heart of Guanacaste, in the Northern part of Costa Rica.  We don't get to practice the sport as much as we'd like to but we love it no matter what

Costa Rica has offered much more than kiting to us...we went hiking through the rain forest and lounging in the natural hot springs; ziplining and hiking the volcanoes on the island of Ometepe, Nicaragua.
