Ombra and I were invited by our friend Francois to go down to the Keys to visit him and his son, Aspen, this weekend at his beautiful home on the island of Islamorada.  It is about 100 miles down, but we were taking a route off the beaten path. It was a first - and wonderful - experience taking this route!  We left Saturday morning around 10:00 a.m. and arrived just before 2:00 p.m, so it was a lovely ride down.  After a day and evening - eating like Kings, we fell into bed early (even though I enjoyed snoozing in the lovely breeze almost half the day.  On Sunday, we left around 4:00 p.m. and enjoyed a ride in the setting sunlight all the way back home to the beach...  A wonderful overnight with some good friends!  We really enjoyed the trip all the way around...
