A week in the Berkshires (Sept 2012)

After a full summer of work and other activities, with little time off, Ombra and I headed up to the Berkshires for a week to clear our heads in the mountains and countryside...  Unfortunately, my Black Betty motorcycle decided it didn't want to make the trip (broken clutch as we were about to depart Manhattan) but we were rescued by our friend Bobbi Paley, who not only loaned us her beautiful country home but also her car to get here!  The temps are comfortable by day, but very cool in the evening.  We've had a wonderful time getting some rest, taking long walks in the mountains, and mushroom foraging in the forest...  Heading home to NYC on Saturday morning.  Here are the pics!
