If the Knicks are to be believed, they weren't overly amped or otherwise excited about their first post-Linsanity game against Jeremy Lin. Yes, they realize he experienced an improbable rise to fame and run of stardom last season in the orange-and-blue uniform. And yes, they know the circumstances surrounding his blindsidingly abrupt exodus this summer divided the fan base.
The Knicks on Friday faced their former phenomenon, Jeremy Lin, and lost 103-131.
But while many looked ahead to Friday's Knicks-Rockets matchup with great interest because of the history between the Knicks and Lin, the team put on a poker face and played down the reunion.
