I want to give a big shout out to Darian from me and all my friends in lifedotsport, in support of the 6th Annual SeaPaddle NYC event!  Darian - or "Digger" when she competes - is a lifedotsport ambassador so, needless to say, she'll hear a loud cheer coming from all of us when she sets off on Friday (Aug. 17th) just before 8:00 a.m.! 

With both elite class and amateur participants, the event is held "to bring awareness and funding for SEA’s environmental projects and ancillary Autism charities."  Another two reasons to cheer...!  Really cool from all perspectives.

lifedotsport staff will be on site with volunteers and on the water with three service boats.  We'll also be giving out Sheckter's Organic Energy fruit drink, which is like another energy product you know but this one is made of pomegranate, guarana and other good stuff.  I know this sounds a little bit like an advert but - in truth this is good stuff - I can stand behind it and share it with the athletes who are sure to need it.  A full moon tide will be ripping Friday, so this trip around the island is not going to be easy.

Anyway, back to my message about giving a BIG SHOUT OUT! to Digger with best wishes for a great paddle and a seamless 6th event!
